Allama Iqbal Nagar / AIN is a Qasba / Small City / Town (hereinafter called / words used as City AIN) located on Qamrani  Road and to be found on the left bank of 5R Canal.  The city is away from Haroonabad about 4 kilometers. The est population of City is sixteen thsnd which spread over an area of about nine squares whereas the same 3rd largest place in Haroonabad Tehsil in combination with its population size cum business market. Office of UC old 93 / new 100 is also sited in Mustafa Colony AIN.

♠        History: Allama Iqbal Nagar established in July 1976 in the desert area of Chak No.86/5-R on both sides of Haroonabad-Qamrani Road due to heavy rain fall in the area. The City comprising two main colonies namely Mustafa Colony on the Eastern and Ghousia Colony on the Western side of Kamrani Road.   
The name of city as Ghousia Basti / Colony was presented by Hafiz Abdul Raheem in 1976 and agreed by then residents. Moreover, later the various names were given to the city by the people at their own, however the officially name Azafi Basti (AB) was in used. In April 2015, the Refahi Committee (hereinafter called / used word as RC) has been constituted by the people of AIN in order to make the efforts for uplift and to keep the peace in the City.  The RC had been considered various viable discussion points in their meetings including the new name of the city. On 9 Aug 2015, RC after detailed discussion, majority vote basis and unanimously suggested rename of the City as Allama Iqbal Nagar (86/5-R) at the eve of Independence Day of our beloved Country 14 August 2015 in the remembrance of an Honourable Thinker for Islamic World as well as the Great Leader for Muslims of Sub Continent / Poet of East and who gave an idea of Pakistan Sir Allama Doctor Muhammad Iqbal (hereinafter called/used Allama Iqbal Nagar/AIN in short). Also make their recommendation for its effectiveness from 14 August 2015 and honorary from July 1976. On 10 August 2015 the new name was presented before the general public and Senior Citizens of AIN by General Secretary of RC Sufi Abdul Majeed in the presence of representatives of Print / Electronic Media. The RC and general public gave their support to the new name through show of hands. Thereafter, the new name properly used after seeking necessary advice / permission from the concern quarters. The new name of the city alongwith names of colonies was conveyed to all concerned for necessary registration. Consequently, keeping in view the size of city, names of
Colonies has been presented before a big gathering of RC and general public on Defense Day 6 September 2015 for finalization. After detailed discussion and majority vote basis, the new name as Mustafa Colony (Census block no 248010504, 248010505 & 248010506) Eastern and Ghousia Colony (Census block no 248010503 & 248010507) on the Western side of Haroonabad Kamrani Road has been finalized on the spot.
♠        Language: The Punjabi is the main language of the city. However, Urdu being National language is spoken and understood widely while English language is also used by a section of population.
♠        Education: The primary education for boys and elementary for girls is available at Government level. Moreover, middle level education is also given by private schools at AIN. However, overall education level is very low in the city. 
♠        Climate: The average climate of AIN is hot and sweaty. The under ground water is mix.
♠        Health: Government health facility for about sixteen thousands peoples in side      the city is not available. However, health care centers and Medical Stores are available here. Overall health facility is very low in the city.
♠        Veterinary: Animal health facility in shape veterinary dispensary is functioning in Mustafa Colony AIN.
♠        Occupation: The residents of AIN are doing small business, Government and private services, laboring, farming and went out to foreign countries.
